‘Don’t Come For Free’ leads with a bumpy drum groove, classic chord sequences and driving subs and soulful vocals throughout. ‘Answer To My Prayer’ follows next, employing a shuffled snares, organic percussion and plucked synth stabs as its foundation while bright, expansive piano stabs and soaring vocal chants further fuel the emotive, peak-time feel.

Title-track ‘Love Is Lifting Me’ then rounds out the release, bringing robust toms, popping congas and swirling shakers into the limelight amongst an amalgamation of airy organ hits, soft chords and cut up vocal samples uttering the track’s title.
